You Can’t, But He Can

Chapter 8

God promised to never again destroy all of creation with water because of man’s sinfulness.  He remembered Noah, his family and the animals.  After more than six months of flood water, the Lord brought them out of the ark onto dry ground.

Noah worked with the soil, but God told us that he was righteous.  I am going to bet he was not a skilled ship builder nor did he have any experience as a zoo keeper.

Because Noah was willing to do what God told him to do, he was able to master assignments he had never done before.  If we would only listen and do what God says imagine what he could do with us.

But by God’s grace, He gave Noah everything he needed to do the job.  That same grace is available to me.  Praise You,  Lord Jesus Christ, when the task seems too big remind me of Noah.
